How Do I Arrange My Menu in WordPress?

Menu arrangement in WordPress is simple. Just create a menu item, define the menu item’s menu link, and assign it to a menu widget.

In most cases, you’ll want to use the default WordPress menu widget, which you can find in the Widgets section of the Appearance > Widgets menu.

To create a new menu item, open the Appearance > Menus menu and click the Add New Menu Item button. In the New Menu Item dialog box, enter a name for your menu item, and then click the OK button.

To define the menu link for your menu item, click the Menu Item link next to your new menu item name, and then enter the text you want to appear in the menu. You can either enter the menu link text using the WordPress default WordPress menu widget, or you can use the built-in WordPress menu builder to create custom menus.

To assign your new menu item to a menu widget, click the Menu Item link next to your menu item name, and then select the menu widget you want to use from the list of available widgets. You can also drag and drop your menu item to the widget area to assign it to a specific location.
