How Do I Add Gzip to WordPress?

Adding Gzip to WordPress is easy. Just go to your WordPress Dashboard, click on the “Appearance” tab, and under the “Compression” heading, click the “Add” button. You will be asked to enter the name of the compression algorithm (gzip, deflate, etc.), the file name of the compressed file, and the maximum compression level.

WordPress will then automatically create the appropriate .htaccess and stylesheet files to enable compression.
