Why Can’t I See My New Page on WordPress?

If you are seeing an error message when you try to visit your new WordPress page, there may be some steps you can take to resolve the problem. First, make sure the page is actually created. If you just created the page, go to the “Posts” page and click on the “Add New” button.

If you’ve been using WordPress for a while and you just created a new page, you may not see the “Add New” button. To create a new page, go to the “Pages” menu and click on the “Create New” button.

If the page is not appearing in the “Posts” or “Pages” menus, there may be a problem with the URL. Make sure you are using the correct URL for the page. The URL for a WordPress page is the same as the URL for the site. For example, if the URL for the site is http://mysite.

com, the URL for a page would be http://mysite.com/page-name. If you are using a custom domain, you will need to use the WordPress site address as the URL, for example, http://mysite.com.

If the page is showing up in the “Posts” or “Pages” menus, but the URL is not correct, you may need to add a 301 redirect to the page. To add a 301 redirect, go to the “Settings” menu and under “Web Site” click on the “Redirects” tab.

In the “Redirects” tab, type the URL for the page that you want to redirect and click on the “Add Redirect” button. WordPress will create a 301 redirect for you and it will appear in the “Redirects” tab.

If you are still seeing an error message, you may need to change the WordPress settings for the page. To change the WordPress settings for a page, go to the “Pages” menu and click on the “Settings” button.

In the “Settings” window, under the “General” tab, click on the “Page Settings” button. In the “Page Settings” window, under the “Page Title” tab, type the correct title for the page and click on the “Save” button.
