What Is a WordPress Site Path?

A WordPress site path is a string of characters that identifies the location of your WordPress site on the web. This path is used by WordPress to locate and load your WordPress files, including the WordPress core files and all of your WordPress plugins.

Your WordPress site path is unique to your WordPress site. If you move your WordPress site to a different web server, or if you rename your WordPress site, your site path will change.

If you want to change your WordPress site path, you can do so by editing your wp-config.php file. To find your wp-config.php file, open your WordPress site in your web browser and navigate to the directory where your WordPress files are stored.

Look for a file named wp-config.php.

If you want to change your WordPress site path without editing your wp-config.php file, you can use the wp-site-url plugin to change your site’s path.

The wp-site-url plugin is available as a free plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.
