How Do I Update My WordPress Live Site?

If you are using WordPress as your content management system (CMS) and you have a live site, you need to update your WordPress installation. Updating WordPress is a two-step process.

The first step is to update your WordPress core. The second step is to update your WordPress plugins and themes.

To update your WordPress core, open your WordPress site in your web browser and click the “Update” link on the top right corner of your screen. WordPress will ask you to confirm the update.

Click the “Yes, Update Now” button to download and install the latest version of WordPress.

After WordPress has installed, you need to update your plugins and themes. To do this, open your WordPress site in your web browser and click the “Plugins” link on the left side of your screen. Click the “Activate” button next to the plugin you want to update.

Click the “Update” button next to the plugin’s “Version” field. WordPress will download and install the latest version of the plugin.

When you have finished updating your plugins and themes, you need to activate the updates. To do this, open your WordPress site in your web browser and click the “Appearance” link on the left side of your screen. Click the “Themes” link in the Appearance section.

Click the “Activate” button next to the theme you want to activate the update for. WordPress will download and install the latest version of the theme.
