How Do I Turn Off Image URL in WordPress?

Image URLs are one of the most common ways to identify a blog post. They appear in the URL bar of your browser, and are also listed in the post editor under the Publish tab.

To disable image URLs in WordPress:

1. Open your WordPress admin panel.
2. Click on the Posts tab.
3. Under the Publish section, click on the Edit link next to the post you want to change.
4. In the Post Details panel, under the Publish tab, click on the Settings button.

5. Under the General tab, scroll down to the Image URL section and uncheck the checkbox next to Use image URL.
6. Click on the Save Changes button to apply the changes.
7. To verify that the image URLs have been disabled, please open the post in a web browser and check the URL bar. If the image URL is still present, you may need to disable caching on your web browser.

The image URLs will now be disabled by default in WordPress posts. To re-enable image URLs in a post, simply uncheck the checkbox next to Use image URL in the Post Details panel under the Publish tab.
