How Do I Revert to a Previous Page in WordPress?

Anyone who uses WordPress knows that it can be a bit of a pain to go back a page in the blog editor. Sometimes you want to go back to a post you wrote a few weeks ago, or to the home page.

There are a few ways to do this, but they all involve clicking on the arrow next to the page number in the editor screen.

The easiest way to go back a page is to use the keyboard. To press the up arrow (or the plus sign on a PC) on your keyboard, hold down the control key and press the up arrow.

To go back a page by a few pages, press the down arrow (or the minus sign on a PC).

If you want to go back to the previous page in the blog editor, but you don’t have the control key handy, there is another way. On the main WordPress screen, click on the blog title in the top left corner. This will open the Posts screen. Click on the arrow next to the page number in the Posts screen. This will open the Page Editor screen.

In the Page Editor screen, click on the arrow next to the Previous button. This will open the Previous Page screen. Click on the link in the Previous Page screen that says Go Back. This will take you back to the previous page in the blog editor.
