How Do I Make a Static Front Page in WordPress?

Static front pages are becoming more and more popular in WordPress. They are great for when you want to showcase a single post or a few posts in a specific order.

To make a static front page in WordPress, start by creating a new posts page. You can name this page whatever you like, but I recommend calling it “Static Front Page.”

Next, go to the WordPress admin area and under “Appearance” click on the “Front Page” button.

On the Front Page screen, you will see a grid of posts. Click on the “Add Post” button and then enter the post title in the “Title” field.

In the “Content” field, you will want to enter a brief description of the post.

Finally, in the “Tags” field, you will want to add any tags that the post might fall under.

Click on the “Save Changes” button and you are done!

Your static front page is now ready to be displayed on the front page of your website. To do this, simply go to the “Main” page of your website and click on the “Front Page” button.

On the Front Page screen, you will see your static front page at the top of the list. Click on it to display the post content.
