How Do I Hide the Header Menu in WordPress?

There are a few ways to hide the header menu in WordPress. If you are using the Classic Editor, you can access the Header Menu by clicking on the hamburger icon in the top left corner of the screen.

If you are using the Visual Editor, you can access the Header Menu by clicking on the header icon in the top right corner of the screen.

One way to hide the header menu is to use the customizer to disable the header menu. To do this, open the customizer by clicking on the Customize link in the main menu or by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Click on the Header Menu tab and uncheck the Enable header menu checkbox.

Another way to hide the header menu is to use the plugin available from the WordPress Plugin Directory called Header Menu by WPBakery Page Builder. This plugin allows you to hide the header menu and also add custom menu items to the header menu.

The plugin is free to download and free to use.

If you want to keep the header menu but hide it from the users who do not have the plugin installed, you can add a hidden field to the header form. Click on the Header Menu tab and add a hidden field called Header Menu.

In the Header Menu field, type the path to the plugin file. The plugin will then load and the header menu will be hidden.
