How Do I Hide the Author of a WordPress Site?

The best way to hide the author of a WordPress site is to use a pseudonym. To do this, first you’ll need to create a new user account on your WordPress site. Next, go to the Users menu in the admin area and click on the link to create a new user.

In the User Name field, type a pseudonym and in the Password field, type the same password you use to log in to your WordPress site. Click on the Create User button and you’re done.

Once you’ve created a new user account, go to the Settings menu and under the Users section, click on the link to edit the user’s settings. In the General Settings area, under the Name column, type the pseudonym you used to create the user account and under the Email column, type the same email address you use to log in to your WordPress site.

Click on the Save Changes button to save your changes.

Now that you’ve hidden the author of your WordPress site, anyone who tries to access your site will see the pseudonym instead of your real name. To reveal your real name, you’ll need to delete the user account and restore the default settings.
