How Do I Edit a Post on a Page in WordPress?

Editing a post on a WordPress page is easy. To start, click the post title in the WordPress post editor. On the left side of the post editor, you’ll see the article content.

To the right of the content, you’ll see the post metadata. In the post metadata, you’ll see the post date, author, and last modified time.

To edit the content, first click the text you want to change. Next, click the “Edit” button on the toolbar. The “Edit Post” dialog box will open.

In the “Text” box, you can type new content. To save your changes, click the “Update” button on the toolbar.

To view the post’s comments, click the “Comments” link on the toolbar. The comments viewer will open. To view the post’s ratings and reviews, click the “Ratings” link on the toolbar. The ratings viewer will open.

To view the post’s excerpts, click the “Excerpts” link on the toolbar. The excerpts viewer will open.

To close the post editor, click the “Close” button on the toolbar. The post will be reloaded in the WordPress front-end.

To close the comments viewer, click the “Close” button on the toolbar. The comments will be hidden from the WordPress front-end.

To close the ratings viewer, click the “Close” button on the toolbar. The ratings will be hidden from the WordPress front-end.

To close the excerpts viewer, click the “Close” button on the toolbar. The excerpts will be hidden from the WordPress front-end.
