How Do I Create a Redirect URL in WordPress?

Creating a redirect URL in WordPress is a simple process that can be used to redirect a visitor from one URL to another. To create a redirect in WordPress, first open the WordPress admin area and click on the “Settings” button in the top-right corner of the screen.

From the “Settings” menu, select the “General” tab and then click on the “Redirects” sub-tab.

In the “Redirects” tab, you will need to enter the URL that you want to redirect visitors to (for example, the URL for your blog’s home page) and then click on the “Create” button. WordPress will then create a redirect for you and will also add the redirect URL to the “Redirects” tab of your WordPress admin area.

Now, if a visitor clicks on the “Redirects” tab and then clicks on the “Create” button for the URL that you want to redirect them to, WordPress will automatically redirect them to the new URL that you specified in the “Create” button’s text field.

If you want to remove a redirect that you have created in WordPress, simply click on the “Remove” button next to the URL that you want to remove from the “Redirects” tab.
