How Do I Create a Category Filter in WordPress?

Creating a category filter in WordPress is easy. All you need to do is go to the WordPress admin panel and select the “Categories” section.

From here, you can create a new category or select an existing one.

Once you have created your category, you will need to add a rule to your filter. To do this, select the “Filters” tab and then click on the “Add New Filter” button.

Next, enter the following information into the “Name” field:

The name of your new category filter.

The name of the action you want to take when a post is assigned to this category.

In the “Type” field, select the “Text” option.

Next, enter the following information into the “Rule” field:

The name of the WordPress function that you want to use to match posts to your category.

The post ID of the post that you want to match.

You can optionally add a “Condition” field, which will allow you to specify additional criteria that must be met in order for the post to be matched to the category.

Click on the “Add Rule” button and your category filter will be created.

Once your category filter is created, you can start using it to control the content that is displayed in your WordPress blog. To do this, simply assign posts to the category using the “Add Post” button on the “Posts” screen, and then select the category filter from the “Filter” menu option.
