How Do I Comment on a WordPress Post?

Commenting on a WordPress post can be a fun way to contribute to the content on the site, and also to engage with other readers. Before you start commenting, though, you’ll need to know a few basics about commenting in WordPress.

To comment on a post, first head to the post’s page (by clicking on the post title in your WordPress site’s sidebar, for example), and then click on the “Comments” link in the sidebar. This will take you to the comment form for the post.

Once you’re on the comment form, you’ll need to identify yourself by clicking on the “Profile” link in the top right corner of the form. This will open up a new window where you can fill in your name, email address, and other information.

Next, you’ll need to choose a commenting method. WordPress allows you to comment using either the WordPress comment system or Disqus.

If you’re using the WordPress comment system, you’ll need to enter your comment in the text field at the bottom of the form. If you’re using Disqus, you’ll need to register for an account and enter your Disqus username and password in the appropriate fields.

Finally, you’ll need to click on the “Submit” button to submit your comment. Your comment will appear immediately below the post’s text, and other readers will be able to see it and respond to it.
