How Do I Change My Website Type in WordPress?

If you’re looking to switch your website type from a static website to a WordPress website, there are a few things you’ll need to do first.

First, you’ll need to install and activate the WordPress plugin WPBakery Page Builder. This plugin will allow you to create custom WordPress pages and posts using drag-and-drop builder blocks.

Once WPBakery Page Builder is installed and activated, you’ll need to create a new page or post in your WordPress website. In the WPBakery Page Builder editor, click on the Add Page button (it’s located in the top left corner of the editor).

Next, enter the following information into the Page Title field:

Title: My New WordPress Website

In the Page Content field, enter the following text:

My new WordPress website is now live!

Click on the Save button to save your new page or post.

Now that you’ve created your new WordPress page or post, you’ll need to switch your website type from a static website to a WordPress website. To do this, go to your WordPress website’s Settings page and click on the Website Type link.

Next, select WordPress from the drop-down menu under Website Type.

Finally, click on the Save Changes button to save your changes.

Congratulations! You’ve now switched your website type from a static website to a WordPress website.
