How Do I Add Extra Settings to Default Customs Sections in WordPress?

Adding Extra Settings to Default Customs Sections in WordPress
When creating custom taxonomies and custom post types in WordPress, it is often helpful to add extra settings to the default taxonomy and custom post type sections. This can allow you to control certain aspects of how the custom content is displayed and handled by WordPress.

To add extra settings to the default taxonomy and custom post type sections, first open the Settings screen for the custom content type or taxonomy in WordPress. Then, under the General tab, click the Custom Fields link.

This will open the Custom Fields screen for the custom content type or taxonomy. On this screen, you will see a list of all of the custom fields that have been created for the content type or taxonomy.

To add a new custom field, click the Add New Field button. This will open the Add New Field screen.

On this screen, you will need to provide a name for the custom field, as well as a description of the custom field. You will also need to provide a default value for the custom field.

The custom field settings for the default taxonomy and custom post type sections will then be based on the values that you have provided for the name, description, and default value fields on the Add New Field screen.
