How Do I Add Different Sections in WordPress?

Adding different sections in WordPress is a fairly simple process. To start, navigate to your WordPress site’s “Appearance” tab and click on the “Customize” button.

When the Customize WordPress window opens, you’ll need to click on the “Appearance” tab in the left-hand column and then click on the “Footer” tab in the right-hand column.

From here, you’ll need to click on the “Add New” button and enter the following information into the “Section” field:

Name: Header

Description: The header section contains the site’s logo, header text, and other content that should be visible at the top of every page.

Template: header-template

After you’ve entered this information, click on the “Add New” button again and enter the following information into the “Section” field:

Name: Content

Description: The content section contains the main body of the site’s content.

Template: content-template

Name: Sidebar

Description: The sidebar section contains any sidebar content that should be visible on specific pages.

Name: Footer

Description: The footer section contains any footer content that should be visible at the bottom of each page.

Template: footer-template.
