Can You Hide the Title on a WordPress Page?

In most cases, the title of a WordPress page can be hidden by default. To do this, open the Page Settings menu and click on the “Title” tab. In the “Title” field, type a short, descriptive title for your page.

This title will be used as the page’s title in the WordPress admin area and in search engine results. Click on the “Save” button to save your changes.

If you want to keep the title hidden, but want to be able to display it in the admin area and in search engine results, you can use the “Display Title” option. To do this, first uncheck the “Display Title” box in the “Title” tab. This will remove the title from the page’s display in the admin area and in search engine results. However, the title will still be included in the page’s URL.

You can then enter a longer, descriptive title in the “Display Title” field.

If you want to completely remove the title from a WordPress page, you can use the “Delete Title” option. To do this, first enter a short, descriptive title in the “Title” field. In the “Display Title” field, type a blank string.

Click on the “Delete” button to delete the title from the page. The page will still be accessible in the WordPress admin area and in search engine results.
