Why Does My WordPress Menu Look Different?

When you first install WordPress, the default menu will look something like this:

However, if you have installed WordPress on a custom domain or site, the default menu may look different. The most common reason for this is that WordPress will automatically install the menus from the site’s domain name (in this case, example.

com) rather than the site’s root domain (in this case, WordPress.org).

If you want to change the menu to look like the default WordPress menu, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your site’s admin area.

2. Click on the “Appearance” tab.

3. Under the “Menu” section, click on the “Customize Menu” button.

4. In the “Custom Menu” window, you will need to enter the site’s domain name (in this case, example.

com) into the “Site Name” field.

5. Click on the “Save Menu” button.

6. Your menu will now look like the default WordPress menu.
