Why Can’t I Delete Plugins on WordPress?

When you install a plugin on your WordPress site, it’s stored in a folder called “plugins” and is automatically activated when you go to your themes folder and activate the theme.

To uninstall a plugin, first deactivate it in the WordPress admin:

1. Go to the WordPress admin area.
2. Click on “Themes” in the left-hand menu.
3. Click on the theme you want to work with.

4. In the “Plugins” section, click on the “Installed” tab.
5. Find the plugin you want to uninstall and click on the “Disable” button next to it.
6. Click on the “Save Changes” button to finish.

You can also uninstall a plugin from the plugin manager:

1. Click on “Plugins” in the left-hand menu. Click on the “Manage Plugins” button. In the “Plugin Manager” screen, click on the “Installed” tab.
