Where Is the WordPress Appearance Menu?

Anatomically, the Appearance menu resides on the WordPress admin bar. However, due to the way themes are coded, some themes place the Appearance menu in different locations on the page, or even hide it completely.

Additionally, some plugins add their own Appearance menus, which can also affect where the Appearance menu is located.

If you want to change the location of the Appearance menu, you can use the Appearance Settings page in the admin area of your WordPress site. To find this page, click on the Admin menu item in the main WordPress toolbar, and then select Appearance.

You can then change the location of the Appearance menu by selecting the Menus tab and changing the location of the Appearance menu item.

If you want to show the Appearance menu in a different location on your page, you can use the Appearance Settings page to add a menu item to the menu bar of your site. To add a menu item, click on the Menu Item tab, and then select Add New Menu Item.

You can then enter the name of the menu item, and then select the location on your page where you want the Appearance menu to appear.

If you want to hide the Appearance menu completely, you can use the Appearance Settings page to disable the Appearance menu item. To disable the Appearance menu item, click on the Menu Item tab, and then select Disable.
