What Is WordPress Parent Page?

The WordPress Parent Page is a page on your website that is used to control the visibility of child pages. You can add a parent page to any existing WordPress website by following these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress website using your administrative credentials.

2. Click the “Pages” menu item in the left-hand sidebar.

3. Click the “Add New Page” button.

4. Enter a name for your new parent page in the “Page Name” field.

5. Select the “Parent Page” check box.

6. Click the “Create” button.

7. Your new parent page is now displayed in the Pages list.

To control the visibility of child pages, you must add a link to your new parent page from the child pages. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Enter a name for your new child page in the “Page Name” field. Your new child page is now displayed in the Pages list. Add a link to your new parent page from your new child page by entering the following line of code in the “Link URL” field:
