What Is a Private Post on WordPress?

Private posts are posts that are not published on the front-end of WordPress. Private posts are only visible to the author and the people who are subscribed to their blog.

Private posts can be used for a variety of purposes, such as for internal communications, tracking project progress, or for sharing personal information.

Private posts can be created by either clicking on the “New Private Post” button on the Posts screen, or by using the Posts > New Private Post command from the admin area. Once a private post is created, it will appear as a new entry in the Posts list, and the author will be able to enter a title and a content description.

Private posts are automatically deleted after 24 hours, unless they are edited or deleted by the author. Private posts can also be hidden from the public view by clicking on the “HIDE POST” button on the Posts screen, or by using the Posts > HIDE POST command from the admin area.

Private posts are a great way to keep track of project progress, share personal information, or to communicate with team members privately. They can also be used for a variety of other purposes, so be sure to try them out and see what they can do for your blog!.
