What Is a Cover Image WordPress?

A cover image is the graphic that appears on the front of a book or magazine. In the context of WordPress, a cover image is the graphic that appears on the front of a blog post or website.

A blog post or website can have one or more cover images.

When you create a post or website, WordPress automatically generates a cover image for you. This cover image is based on the content of your post or website.
