What Are Post Revisions in WordPress?

When you make a change to a post on your WordPress blog, you’re actually creating a new revision of that post. This is handy because you can always go back and change your mind about what you wrote.

If you want to make a significant change to a post, you should create a new revision and then delete the old one. This will keep your changes separate from the original post.

You can also create new revisions if you want to make small changes to a post without creating a new post altogether. Just go to the post’s edit page and click the “Create New Revision” link.

When you’re done editing the new revision, you can either publish it or keep it private. If you want to make the revision public, just click the “Publish” button on the revision’s main page.

Finally, if you want to go back and re-read a post that you’ve revised, just click the “Revisit” link on the post’s main page. This will take you back to the post’s original revision.
