How Do You Add a Head in WordPress?

Adding a Head in WordPress

Adding a head to a WordPress post or page is simple. You can use the WordPress editor to insert a head image, or you can use a third-party plugin to add a head.

To insert a head image using the WordPress editor, open the post or page in your editor, and locate the header area. Near the top of the header, you will see a field for the post’s title and a field for the post’s content.

In the title field, type a headline for your post, and in the content field, type a link to your head image.

To add a head using a third-party plugin, search for a plugin that offers head editing features. Once you find a plugin, click the “Install” link to install it. After the plugin is installed, open the plugin’s main page. In the left column, under “Plugins,” click the “Headers” tab. In the headings area, click the “Add New Head” button.

In the “Head Image” field, type the URL to your head image. In the “Content” field, type a brief description of your head. Click the “Create Head” button. Your new head will be inserted into your post or page.
