How Do I Use SSL on My WordPress Site?

If you run a WordPress site, you should use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to secure your communications. SSL encrypts your data between your WordPress site and the web server, preventing unauthorized access.

To enable SSL, follow these steps:

1. Go to your WordPress site’s admin area.

2. Click the “Security” link in the left-hand column.

3. On the security screen, click the “SSL” link in the “Security” section.

4. On the SSL screen, click the “Enable SSL” button.

5. Click the “SSL Settings” button.

6. On the SSL Settings screen, click the “SSL” tab.

7. In the “SSL Certificate” field, click the “Install Certificate” button.
