How Do I Show All Categories in a WordPress Post?

There are two main ways to show all the post categories on a WordPress page: using the Categories widget and using the custom post type.

The Categories widget is located in the Appearance menu under the Widget drop-down, and it lets you show all the post categories on a given page or post. To use the Categories widget, first activate it by clicking the “Activate” button next to it.

To use the custom post type, first create a new post type by clicking the “Add New” button on the Posts screen, and then set the “Post Type” field to “Category.” You can then set the “Display” field to “All,” “Manual,” or “None.”

When you’re finished setting up your post type, click the “Save” button to finish. Now, when you create a new post, WordPress will automatically set the “Post Type” field to “Category,” and the “Display” field to “All.”.
