How Do I Restore a Featured Image in WordPress?

Featured images are an important part of a WordPress site. They are used to draw attention to articles and give them a bit of a boost in search engine rankings.

Unfortunately, Featured Images can sometimes become corrupted or lost. If this is the case for your site, you’ll need to restore your Featured Image.

To restore a Featured Image in WordPress, you’ll first need to identify the image that you want to restore. You can find this information by looking in the Media Library or using the WordPress Media Manager.

Once you have the image file, you’ll need to copy it to your server.

Next, you’ll need to activate the Featured Image option in your WordPress site’s Settings. This is located under the Appearance section of your WordPress site’s main menu.

After you have activated the Featured Image option, you’ll need to select the image file that you copied to your server from your Media Library.

Once you have selected the image file, you’ll need to click the Update button. This will restore the image to your site and replace the old Featured Image with the new one.
