How Do I Remove Post Excerpt in WordPress?

When you publish a post on your blog, WordPress saves a bit of text that appears just before the post excerpt (the part of the post that appears on the front page). This excerpt text is automatically generated and includes the post title and the date.

If you want to remove this excerpt text from your posts, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress site.

2. Click the Posts tab.

3. Locate the post you want to edit.

4. Click the Edit link next to the post’s excerpt.

5. On the post excerpt page, click the Remove link.

6. WordPress will remove the excerpt text from the post.

7. If you want to keep the excerpt text as a separate column on the post’s post page, you can do so by clicking the Insert Column link and selecting the Excerpt column option.

8. Click the Update link to save your changes.

9. Congratulations! Your post now looks and feels more professional.
