How Do I Move a WordPress Post to Another WordPress Site?

There are a few ways to move a WordPress post to another WordPress site. The most common way is to use the Export to File feature in the post editor.

You can also use the WP Migration Tool or a third-party migration service.

To export a post to a file, go to the post editor and select the Export to File button. On the Export to File dialog box, select a destination folder, and then click Export.

The exported file contains the post content, including the post title, meta data, comments, and all the images and galleries in the post.

To use the WP Migration Tool, go to the post editor, select the post you want to move, and click the WP Migration Tool button. The WP Migration Tool opens in a new window.

On the General tab, in the Location field, type the URL of the new WordPress site, and then click the Export button. The WP Migration Tool exports the post to the new WordPress site.

To use a third-party migration service, go to the post editor, select the post you want to move, and click the Migrate to WordPress button. The Migrate to WordPress window opens.

On the Migration tab, in the Source field, type the URL of the post you want to move, and then click the Import button. The Migrate to WordPress window imports the post from the source site.
