How Do I Manually Import a WordPress Site?

If you have a WordPress site that you want to move to a new host, you can manually import the site. Before you begin, be sure to backup your site.

You can use the backup feature in your hosting account, or you can use a third-party tool like WP Migrate Pro.

To import your WordPress site, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your hosting account.

2. Go to the cPanel area and look for the “wp” directory.

3. Inside the wp directory, you will find a file called wp-config.

php and find the line that reads “siteurl”. Change this line to the new hostname of your site.

5. Save wp-config.
