How Do I Make My WordPress Blog Searchable on Google?

Making your WordPress blog searchable on Google is a two-fold process: setting up a custom Google search engine and adding your blog to Google’s index.

To set up a custom Google search engine, first register for a Google account and create a new web site. On the new site, click on the “Settings” link in the top right corner, and then click on the “Search engines” tab. In the “Search engines” tab, click on the “New” button, and then type in “WordPress” in the “Search engine name” field.

Click on the “OK” button, and then type in your blog’s URL in the “URL” field. You can now start adding your blog’s content to the search engine.

To add your blog to Google’s index, first add your blog’s URL to your Google search engine. Then, sign in to Google and go to the “Google search results” page. In the top left corner of the page, click on the “Search tools” link, and then click on the “Indexing” link.

In the “Indexing” page, click on the “Add a site” button, and then type in your blog’s URL in the “Site URL” field. Click on the “OK” button, and then click on the “Done” button.
