How Do I Get the Current Post URL in WordPress?

In WordPress, the current post URL is displayed in the post edit screen and in the post editor toolbar. To get the current post URL, follow these steps:

1. In the post editor, click the post title.

2. In the post details screen, under the Published date field, click the URL link.

3. The URL will open in a new tab or window.

4. Copy the entire URL, including the http:// and the .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz/.us/.in/.au/.nz/.co.uk/.de/.fr/.jp/.at/.ch/.

lt/.pl/.ru/.eu/.pt/.tr/.be/.ar/.no/.fi/.dk/.es/.br/.is/.pt/category/ or the category name if there is no post category assigned, and paste it into a web browser.

The post URL will be the same as the address of the post in the WordPress blog, for example: http://www.myblog.com/post/123

The post URL is also included in the post excerpt when you press the keyboard shortcut to open the excerpt in a new window.
