How Do I Edit the Sidebar Menu in WordPress?

When you create a new WordPress blog, you’re given the opportunity to customize the sidebar menu. This menu appears on the left side of the WordPress blog, and includes links to different sections of your blog.

To customize the sidebar menu, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Appearance menu option on the WordPress admin toolbar.

2. Select the Sidebar menu option.

3. In the Sidebar menu, click on the Add new link button.

4. In the Add new link window, type the name of the new section, and then click on the OK button.

5. Repeat these steps to add additional sections to the sidebar menu.

6. To change the order of the sections in the sidebar menu, click on the Order button.

7. To remove a section from the sidebar menu, click on the Remove link button.

8. To change the text associated with a section in the sidebar menu, click on the Text button.

9. To add a new post to your blog, click on the Posts button, and then select the Add new post button.

10. In the Add new post window, type a catchy title for your new post, and then click on the OK button.

11. To add a new category to your blog, click on the Categories button, and then select the Add new category button.

12. In the Add new category window, type a catchy title for your new category, and then click on the OK button.

13. To add a new tag to your blog, click on the Tags button, and then select the Add new tag button.

14. In the Add new tag window, type a catchy title for your new tag, and then click on the OK button.

15. To add a new post to a specific category, tag, or post, click on the post name, and then click on the Edit link button.

16. In the Edit post window, you can change the title, the text, and the rating of the post.

17. To publish your new post, click on the Publish button.

18. To stop editing your post, click on the Cancel button.

19. Click on the Close button to return to the Sidebar menu.

20. Click on the Save changes button to save your changes to the WordPress blog.

21. Click on the Publish button to publish your updated blog post.

22. Click on the Home button on the WordPress admin toolbar to return to the blog’s main page.

23. Click on the Blog name in the upper-left corner of the main page to view the blog’s latest posts.

26. Click on the Site map button to view a list of all the posts on the blog.
