How Do I Edit Templates in WordPress?

Editing templates in WordPress is a breeze. To begin, open your template in the editor.

To edit a template, click on the name of the template in the editor’s sidebar. This will open the template in its own editor.

To make changes to the template, you’ll need to access the theme’s functions.php file. This file is located in the theme folder and contains all of the template’s code.

To open it, click on the “Functions” menu item in the editor’s sidebar and then select “Functions.php.”.

Once you’re in the function file, you can make your changes. To add a new line of code, click on the “New Line” button located at the bottom of the editor and type in your code.

To delete a line of code, select it and hit the “Delete” button.

To save your changes, hit the “Save” button. When you’re finished editing the template, hit the “Close” button to save your changes and return to the editor.

Finally, hit the “Publish” button to publish your changes to the WordPress site.
