How Do I Edit an Existing WordPress Site?

If you already have a WordPress site up and running, you can easily edit it to reflect your new branding and design. To start, access your WordPress site through your web browser.

You’ll see a page like the one below.

Click on the “Appearance” tab at the top of the page. This will open the Appearance screen, where you can make changes to your site’s overall look and feel.

To change the name or logo for your site, click on the “Your Site Name” text box and type in the new name or logo.

To change the color of your site’s header and footer, click on the “Header” and “Footer” text boxes and type in the new color.

To change the color of all the text on your site, click on the “Text” box and type in the new color.

To change the text font on your site, click on the “Text” box and type in the new font name.

To change the text size on your site, click on the “Text” box and type in the new size.

To change the background color of your site, click on the “Background” box and type in the new color.

To change the background image for your site, click on the “Background” box and select the new image from your computer.

To change the text alignment on your site, click on the “Text Alignment” box and type in the new alignment.

To change the menu font on your site, click on the “Menu Font” box and type in the new font name.

To change the menu color on your site, click on the “Menu” box and type in the new color.

To change the menu background color on your site, click on the “Menu Background” box and type in the new color.

To change the menu background image on your site, click on the “Menu Background” box and select the new image from your computer.

To change the open and closed buttons on your site, click on the “Open” and “Close” text boxes and type in the new text.

To change the link colors on your site, click on the “Link Colors” box and type in the new colors.

To change the link text colors on your site, click on the “Link Text Colors” box and type in the new colors.

To change the link hover text colors on your site, click on the “Link Hover Text Colors” box and type in the new colors.

To change the link active text colors on your site, click on the “Link Active Text Colors” box and type in the new colors.

To change the menu active text colors on your site, click on the “Menu Active Text Colors” box and type in the new colors.

To change the WordPress site’s title, click on the “Site Title” text box and type in the new title.

To change the WordPress site’s description, click on the “Site Description” text box and type in the new description.

To change the WordPress site’s keywords, click on the “Site Keywords” text box and type in the new keywords.

To change the WordPress site’s home page, click on the “Home Page” text box and type in the new home page address.

To change the WordPress site’s tags, click on the “Tags” text box and type in the new tag list.

To change the WordPress site’s categories, click on the “Categories” text box and type in the new category list.

To change the WordPress site’s date format, click on the “Date Format” text box and type in the new date format.

To change the WordPress site’s time format, click on the “Time Format” text box and type in the new time format.

To change the WordPress site’s language, click on the “Language” text box and type in the new language.

To change the WordPress site’s theme, click on the “Theme” text box and select the new theme.

To change the WordPress site’s plugin, click on the “Plugins” text box and type in the new plugin.

To change the WordPress site’s last updated time, click on the “Last Updated” text box and type in the new time.

To save your changes, click on the “Save” button.
