How Do I Disable a Page in WordPress?

In WordPress, pages are the basic building blocks for websites. Pages allow you to group posts and other content together, and make it easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for.

Pages are also a great way to organize your website content.

However, pages can also be a bit of a nuisance. They can take up a lot of space on your website, and they can be hard to manage.

If you don’t need pages on your website, you can disable them.

To disable a page in WordPress, first open the page in your browser. Next, click the page’s title in the main WordPress dashboard.

(The button is usually labelled “Pages”.) On the page that appears, click the “Settings” button.

In the “Settings” page, click the “Pages” tab. In the “Pages” tab, under “Enabled”, click “Disable”.

(If the “Disable” button is not visible, click the “Show button” link to the right of the “Enabled” checkbox.).

Now, the page will no longer appear in the WordPress dashboard, and it will not be accessible to visitors. You can still use the page as a content source for posts and other pages on your website, though.

You can also add the page to a WordPress site by copying its URL.
