How Do I Create User Roles in WordPress?

Creating user roles in WordPress is a simple process that can help organize and control user access to content and features on your website. To create a role, first go to your WordPress admin area and click on “Users.

” This will open the Users screen, which you can see in the screenshot below.

Next, click on the “Add New” button and fill out the form as shown in the screenshot below. In the “Role” field, you’ll need to provide a name for the role, and in the “Access” field, you’ll need to decide which features and content the role will have access to.

To give users of the role access to specific content, you can create a category in the “Posts” category for the role, and then add posts to that category that the role members can access.
