How Do I Create a Table in WordPress?

Creating a table in WordPress is easy. To begin, open the admin area of your WordPress site and click on the “ Tables ” link in the left-hand side toolbar.

This will open the Tables admin area.

To create a new table, click on the “ + ” button at the top of the admin area. This will open the Add New Table dialog box.

In the Table Name field, enter a name for your new table.

In the Table Settings field, click on the “ Select Table Type ” button. This will open the Select Table Type dialog box.

The available table types are “ Blog Post ”, “ Post Type ”, and “ Custom Post Type ”.

The “ Blog Post ” table type is the default table type. To create a table based on the “ Blog Post ” table type, click on the “ Blog Post ” check box.

To create a table based on the “ Post Type ” table type, click on the “ Post Type ” check box.

To create a table based on the “ Custom Post Type ” table type, enter the name of your custom post type in the “ Name ” field.

Click on the “ Create Table ” button.

The new table will be created and displayed in the Tables admin area.

To add a table column, click on the “ + ” button next to the column name. This will open the Add New Column dialog box.

In the Column Name field, enter a name for your new column.

In the Column Settings field, click on the “ Select Column Type ” button. This will open the Select Column Type dialog box.

The available column types are “ Text ”, “ Number ”, and “ Date ”.
