How Do I Change the Text of a Widget in WordPress?

There are a few ways to change the text of a widget in WordPress. You can edit the widget’s source code, or you can use the WPBakery Page Builder to create a new widget with the desired text.

To edit the widget’s source code, open the widget’s file in a text editor, and locate the

element that includes the widget’s text. In most cases, this element will be located near the top of the widget’s file.

To create a new widget with the desired text, use the WPBakery Page Builder. To open the WPBakery Page Builder, click the WPBakery logo in the upper-right corner of the WordPress admin screen, and then click the WPBakery Page Builder link.

In the WPBakery Page Builder, click the Add New Widget button. In the Widget Editor dialog box, click the Text tab, and then enter the text you want to appear inside the widget.

When you’re finished editing the widget’s text, click the Save button to save the changes.
