How Do I Change Locale in WordPress?

Changing your locale in WordPress is a fairly simple process, depending on how you want to do it. There are two main ways to change your locale: using the built-in WordPress locale switching tool or using a plugin.

To use the built-in WordPress locale switching tool, go to Settings > General > Site Language and switch to the language you want to change to. You can also change your locale using the WordPress Multisite administrator. To do this, go to Network > Sites, select the site you want to change the locale for, and click the Edit button. Under the Site Settings section, click the Locales tab and select the language you want to use.

You can also change your locale using the WordPress.com admin panel. To do this, go to Settings > General > Site Language and switch to the language you want to use.

If you want to change your locale using a plugin, the best option is probably Localize. This plugin is available in the WordPress plugin repository and can be installed using the WP plugin installer. Once it’s installed, go to the Localize menu and select Settings.

Under the General tab, you’ll see a list of available locales. To change your locale, select the language you want to use and click the Save Changes button.
