How Do I Build a WordPress Site Before Going Live?

The first step in building a WordPress site is to create a new project. When you create a new project, WordPress will give you a set of starter files and instructions.

This includes a theme and a set of custom post types.

Next, you’ll need to choose a theme. There are a number of great themes available, and you can find more by looking at the WordPress Theme Directory.

Once you’ve chosen a theme, you’ll need to install it on your server.

Once your theme is installed, you’ll need to create a custom post type. A custom post type is a template that WordPress uses to create posts.

You can create a custom post type by going to Posts > Add New. In the post type field, enter the name of the post type, and then enter the code for the post type template.

Now that you have a theme and a custom post type, you’ll need to create your site. To do this, go to Settings > General > Site Title and enter a title for your site.

Next, go to Posts > Add New and enter content for your site. You can use the built-in post types or create your own.

When you’re finished, you’ll need to publish your site. To do this, go to the Publish tab and click the Publish button.

WordPress will generate a preview of your site, and you can then make any final changes. When you’re ready, click the Publish button again to send your site live.
