How Do I Automatically Update Plugins in WordPress?

When you install plugins in WordPress, you are telling the WordPress installation process to install the plugin into the active WordPress installation. This means that you need to do something to make sure that the plugin gets updated.

There are a few different ways to do this.

The easiest way is to use the automatic update feature in WordPress. When you activate the automatic update feature, WordPress will check for new updates for the plugin and install them if they are available.

If you want to disable the automatic update feature, you can do that by going to the Administration panel, and then clicking on the Updates tab. Under the Automatic Updates section, you will see a check box that you can click to disable the automatic update feature.

If you want to manually update the plugin, you can do that by going to the WordPress plugin repository and downloading the latest version of the plugin. After you have downloaded the plugin, you can unzip it and upload the plugin to the WordPress installation.
