How Do I Add Categories to WordPress Site?

Adding categories to a WordPress site is easy. You just need to go to the Add New Category screen in the WordPress Admin area, and enter the name of the category you want to add.

You can also add a tag to the category if you want. Once you have entered the information, click the Add Category button.

If you want to add a new category to an existing site, first go to the Site Pages screen in the WordPress Admin area, and click the Categories tab. Then click the Add New Category button.

Enter the category name in the text box, and click the Add Category button.

The next step is to go to the Posts screen in the WordPress Admin area, and click the Categories tab. Then click the Add a New Category link.

Finally, you need to go to the Posts screen in the WordPress Admin area, and click the Add Post button. Enter the post title in the Title text box, and click the Add Post button.

The category will be automatically added to the post’s category.

To remove a category from a post or page, first go to the Posts screen in the WordPress Admin area, and click the Categories tab. Then click the Remove link next to the category you want to remove.

The post will be deleted, and the category will be removed from the post’s category list.
