How Do I Add a Side Menu in WordPress?

Adding a side menu in WordPress is a relatively simple task. First, you will need to create a custom post type. For this example, we will call our new post type “Side Menu”. Next, you will need to create a new menu item in your side menu.

In the following example, we will create a new menu item called “Posts”. Finally, you will need to add a link to your new menu item in your main menu. For this example, we will add our new menu item to the “Posts” menu in our WordPress admin area.

To add a new menu item in WordPress, first click on the “Appearance” menu item in the main menu. Next, click on the “Menus” sub-menu item. Finally, click on the “Create New Menu Item” button. In the “Menu Title” field, type “Side Menu”. In the “Menu Item Type” field, type “Post”.

In the “Menu Item Name” field, type “Posts”. In the “Menu Level” field, type “1”. In the “Menu Position” field, type “1”. Click on the “Create Menu Item” button.

Now, you will need to add a link to your new menu item in your main menu. In the “Posts” menu in the WordPress admin area, click on the “Add a New Link” button.

In the “Link Title” field, type “Posts from Side Menu”. In the “Link URL” field, type the following address:.

http://www.example.

com/side-menu/posts.php.

Click on the “Create Link” button. Your new side menu link will now be available in the main menu.

Finally, you will need to add a link to your new menu item in your side menu.

In the “Link Title” field, type “Posts from Side Menu (excerpt)”.
