How Do I Add a Pop Up Disclaimer in WordPress?

When you publish or post a blog or article on the internet, you assume some risk that someone will use it to wrongfully inflict harm on others. You can help protect yourself and your readers by adding a popup disclaimer when you publish content.

You can add a disclaimer by opening the WordPress editor and going to the “post” page for the article you want to add a disclaimer to. In the “post” page, click on the “edit” link in the top left corner.

This will open the post in the WordPress editor.

On the post’s “edit” page, click on the “content” tab. This will open the post’s content in a new tab.

In the “content” tab, click on the “disclaimer” link in the top right corner. This will open a popup window where you can add your disclaimer.

After you add your disclaimer, click on the “save changes” button. This will save your disclaimer and return you to the “post” page.

Now that you have added a disclaimer to your post, you can protect yourself and your readers by using it if someone tries to use your post to wrongfully inflict harm on others.
