How Do I Add a Meta Field in WordPress?

Adding a meta field in WordPress is easy. To do this, first go to the WordPress admin area and locate the “Posts” menu item on the left-hand side of the screen.

From here, click on the “Add New” button and then select the “Post” category from the list on the left-hand side.

After selecting the “Post” category, you will be presented with a list of available post types. Select the “Text” post type and then click on the “Meta” tab at the top of the screen.

From here, you will need to input the information necessary to add a meta field. The first step is to enter the title of the meta field.

Next, you will need to specify the name of the meta field and then provide a description of the field. Finally, you will need to input the value of the meta field.

Once you have completed these steps, click on the “Save Changes” button and then click on the “Publish” button to publish the post. Once the post has been published, you will be able to view the meta field in the “Details” section of the post.
