How Do I Add a Filter to Search in WordPress?

Adding a filter to your search in WordPress is easy. Just go to your WordPress admin area and click on the “Settings” menu item.

From there, select the “Search” tab and then click on the “Add New Filter” button.

In the “Add New Filter” dialog box, you will need to provide some information about the filter. The first thing you will need to do is give the filter a name.

For this example, we will call our filter “Filters”.

Next, you will need to provide a description of the filter. In this example, we will simply state that the filter will filter posts based on the term “cat”.

Finally, you will need to provide a list of criteria that the filter will use to determine whether a post is a match. In this example, we will simply state that the filter will only match posts that have the term “cat” in the title.

Once you have completed the above steps, you will need to click on the “Create Filter” button. WordPress will then create the filter and will display it in the “Search Filters” section of the Settings area.

You can now use the filter to search for posts that match the criteria that you have specified. Simply enter the term “cat” into the “Title” field and the filter will return all the posts that have that term in the title.
