Can You Add Folders to WordPress?

In addition to posts and pages, you can also add folders to WordPress. This makes it easy to organize your blog content by topic. To add a folder, go to the Posts screen in your WordPress admin area and click the Add New Post button. In the Add New Post dialog box, type in a title for your folder and choose a folder from the Posts Category drop-down menu. Click the Add button to create your folder. To add a post to your new folder, go to the Posts screen and click the Add New Post button. In the Add New Post dialog box, type in a title for your post and choose the folder in which to place it. WordPress will automatically populate the Post Content field with the content of the post, including the post title, excerpt, and any tags you assigned to it.

To add a post to a different folder, click the Posts button on the main WordPress screen and select the folder in which to place the post. To delete a post from a folder, go to the Posts screen and click the Edit Post button. In the Edit Post dialog box, select the post you want to delete and click the Delete button. To rename a post in a folder, go to the Posts screen and click the Edit Post button. In the Edit Post dialog box, select the post you want to rename and type in the new title. To add a category to a folder, go to the Posts screen and click the Add New Category button. In the Add New Category dialog box, type in a title for the category and choose a category from the Posts Category drop-down menu. To view all posts in a folder, go to the Posts screen and click the All Posts button.
